What will I be doing?
As the Executive Chef, you will manage and lead the culinary operation to ensure it runs smoothly and meets Hilton standards. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing culinary operations in all restaurant kitchens, including Pastry, Main Kitchen, Chinese Kitchen, Executive Club Lounge Kitchen, and stewarding operations.
- Planning, preparing, and implementing high-quality food and beverage products and set-ups in all areas and restaurants.
- Maintaining all HACCP aspects within the hotel operation.
- Developing and updating training manuals and SOPs.
- Conducting market research, establishing pricing strategies, and setting sales targets.
- Managing guest relations and client services, including feedback and communication.
- Managing departmental expenses and budget, and preparing monthly forecasts.
- Promoting the hotel, its image, facilities, and services to the general public and the community.
- Liaising with the corporate office to ensure the smooth flow of all business development initiatives.
What are we looking for?
An Executive Chef serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the following attitude, behaviors, skills, and values:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 10-15 years as Head of Kitchen in a 4/5-star category hotel or individual restaurants with high standards.
- At least 8 years of experience as a Main Chef.
- Up to date with sanitation classes.
- Possess a valid health certificate.
- Good command in English, both verbal and written, to meet business needs.
- Work experience in a similar capacity with an international chain of hotels.
- A major in cooking is advantageous.
