Malolo Island Fiji is an intimate Fiji island resort located in the Mamanuca group of islands, The resort comprises 46 bures, 3 dining outlets, three bars, a boutique, kids club, spa, activities and two swimming pools.

We are now seeking a dedicated, career minded industry professional with outstanding knowledge, expertise and experience to join our dynamic team.

Duty Manager

Responsible for achieving the smooth and professional running of the operation in accordance with hotel policy. A problem solving skills and the ability to interact socially with guests at all levels is essential. A good over all knowledge of Resorts operations is strongly desirable.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years proven experience in a 4 star resort or hotel
• Formal and relevant qualification from a recognized institute
• The ability to actively mentor and develop potential leaders within the team and foster an environment of growth and professionalism
• Ability to create, implement and monitor operational systems and procedures
• Computer literate with excellent skills in MS program including Opera and micros POS system
• Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels.

Demi Chef

• 4-5 years experience in a 4 star resort or hotel
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment's and food safety standards.
• Possess excellent grooming and presentation, customer service skills and professional salesmanship attributes with a can-do attitude
• Have proven track records and be able to perform under pressure to consistently maintain high standards of service
• Ability to work in a team environment and as required
• Hard worker, passionate, team player, dynamic, trustworthy, physically fit and healthy
