Malolo Island Fiji is an intimate Fiji island resort located in the Mamanuca group of islands.  The resort comprises 46 bures, 3 dining outlets, three bars, a boutique, kids club, spa, activities and two swimming pools.

We are now seeking a dedicated, career minded industry professional with outstanding knowledge, expertise and experience to join our dynamic team.

Duty Manager

Responsible for achieving the smooth and professional running of the operation in accordance with hotel policy to ensure maximum guest satisfaction, the safety and security of guests and staff and coordinating disaster management procedures for fire, cyclones, and tsunamis.  Problem solving skills and the ability to interact socially with guests at all levels is essential.  A good over all knowledge of Resorts operations is strongly desirable.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years proven experience in a 4 star resort or hotel
• Formal and relevant qualifications from a recognized institute
• Front Office experience is essential, and Housekeeping and F&B experience will be an advantage.
• The ability to support all operational leaders in the delivery of their service to our resort guests, providing solutions for operational issues and assisting guests with their complaints.
• Ability to create, implement and monitor operational systems and procedures
• Computer literate with excellent skills in MS program including Opera and micros POS systems.
• Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels
