VAC 83/25
The position will be based at the Energy Fiji Limited’s Navutu Depot and will report to the Manager Renewable Generation.
Key Responsibilities:

- Carry out driving duties for Monasavu Power Station, Wailoa Power Station, Nadarivatu Power Station, Navutu Depot, and other EFL sites as required.

- Conduct routine vehicle inspections, particularly at remote locations.

- Promptly report all accidents and incidents to the designated Supervisor, Health & Safety Officer, or Fleet Officer.

- Adhere to health and safety legislative requirements set by both EFL and the Government.

- Promote a culture of safety by assisting in the development and maintenance of safe work procedures, complying with those procedures, and submitting hazard reports as necessary.

- Operate EFL vehicles in accordance with the Fleet Policy Manual, including Borer trucks, Crane trucks, Tip-trucks, Elevated Platform Vehicles (Cherry Pickers), and Live-line EPVs.

- Administer First Aid when required.

- Perform other duties relevant to the position as assigned from time to time.
Key Requirements:

- A valid full group 2, 6, and 9 driving license with a minimum of 3 years’ experience operating group 9 vehicles.

- A valid Defensive Driving Course (DDC) certificate.

- Proficient in reading, writing, understanding, and communicating in English.

- A pass in Fiji Year 12 examination will be considered an added advantage.
