What is the job?

We are looking for passionate people who are charming, confident and hard-working being our next Driver at the Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort & Spa.

Just like our hotels, no two colleagues are the same. We’re curious about you. How will you inspire the eclectic rhythm in our hotel?

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different at IHG, but you’ll mostly be:

Drive hotel van or designated vehicles for the resort’s errands.
May drive hotel van or designated vehicles to and from guest destinations in a safe and courteous manner.
Operate vehicle in accordance with local laws and road rules.
Perform daily inspection of vehicles; takes necessary action to correct deficiencies or unsafe conditions; always keep vehicle clean and neat.
Inform Manager of major problems, complaints, disturbances or any defects on the vehicle.
Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communications and coordination with other departments.
Jump into other ad-hoc duties when your colleagues need your help.

What we expect from you:

Valid full driver’s license (group 2, 3, 4 & 5) required.
High School diploma or equivalent, and 2 years guest service and driver experience preferred.
Must speak fluent English. Other languages preferred.
Carrying, pushing, or lifting items weighing up to 25kg.
Handling objects such as boxes, etc.
Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with clients and colleagues.
Reading and writing abilities are utilized often when completing departmental records/logs, etc.
May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
