We are seeking to hire highly motivated individuals as a Direct Sales Team Leader to be based in Suva.
As a Team Leader you will be responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in the assigned region. Staffs and directs the sales team and provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values.
Core Responsibilities:
· Develops and implements a strategic sales plan for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
· Responsible for the performance and development of the assigned Direct Sales team.
· Target sports clubs, village communities and businesses, engaging in community activities such as roadshows to promote Digicel
· Conducts one-on-one review with all sales reps to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of sales rep’s sales and activity performance
· Prepares action plans by individuals as well as by team for effective search of sales leads and prospects and conducting twice daily meetings with sales reps discussing action plan.
· Lead in compiling and updating a weekly calendar of presentations/fulfillments
· Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.
· Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team
· Ensure that as the Team Leader, your approved development objectives to successfully move into the aspired role is regularly reviewed with the Area Manager together with the assigned mentor to allow the incumbent to grow within Digicel.
Academic qualifications, Experience & Skill a required for this role:
· A tertiary qualification in business, sales or marketing is preferred but not essential;
· At least 3 years’ sales experience in a related field or industry
· Sound knowledge of retail store operations.
· Good communication and interpersonal skills
· Great customer service and problem solving skills.
· Proven experience-leading teams with successful outcomes.
· Computer savvy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
