PNG Motors is one of Papua New Guinea’s most recognised automotive groups, representing Ford, Mazda, Hyundai, Suzuki, JMC and Joylong. Our dealerships are busy, high-pressure environments where leadership, structure, and customer experience all matter — every day.
This is a senior role for someone who understands that a dealership only performs as well as the systems, standards, and people running it.
You’ll have full responsibility for the day-to-day operation of a PNG Motors dealership. That includes sales, service, parts, finance, customer experience, staff performance, and overall profitability.
You’ll lead and develop department managers, set clear targets, and ensure standards are consistently met across the dealership. From sales performance and stock management to workshop efficiency and customer satisfaction, you’ll be across the details — without losing sight of the bigger picture.
You’ll work closely with Head Office, national managers, and support teams to implement strategies, manage budgets, control costs, and deliver results. This role requires visibility on the floor, not just behind a desk. When issues arise, you step in, make decisions, and keep things moving.
This role suits an experienced automotive leader who has managed dealerships or large operational teams. You’re commercially aware, people-focused, and comfortable being accountable for results.
You know how to balance pressure with professionalism, targets with customer care, and autonomy with compliance. You’re confident leading teams, enforcing standards, and making calls that protect both performance and reputation.
If you believe a dealership runs itself once the doors open, this won’t be the right role.
PNG Motors is not a short-term operation. We’re a national business with strong global brands, proper aftersales support, and long-term commitment to the PNG market.
Our dealerships operate in Port Moresby, Lae, Kokopo, Mount Hagen, and Kimbe, giving Dealer Managers real scale and support — not isolation. You’ll be trusted to run the business properly, with backing from a national group that understands local realities.
If you want a role where you genuinely control outcomes, lead people, and build a strong, sustainable dealership — this is it.
