Contract Administrator

This position is to optimize the management of property contracts, minimize risks, ensure compliance, and support the organization's strategic objectives related to property acquisition, management, and maintenance.

Responsibilities:

·    Overseeing the entire lifecycle of contracts, from initiation to execution, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational requirements.

·     Managing relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring vendors meet contractual obligations.

·      Maintaining accurate records of contracts, amendments, and other related documents.

·      Monitoring expenditures related to contracts and ensuring they align with departmental budgets.

·    Identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with contracts, ensuring the organization's interests are protected.

·       Ensuring all contracts adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.

·     Facilitating communication between stakeholders, including internal departments, vendors, and legal teams.

·        Resolving contract-related disputes or issues that may arise during the course of the contract.

·        Monitoring vendor performance and conducting performance evaluations to assess adherence to contract terms.

·        Identifying opportunities to streamline contract management processes and improve efficiency within the properties department.

Requirements:

·        A bachelor's degree in relevant field such as business administration, finance, real estate, or law.

·        3 – 5 years in contract administration, property management, or a related field is required.

·      A solid understanding of contract law, property management principles, and relevant regulations and standards is essential.

·        Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
