What You’ll Do

You’ll oversee construction activities on-site – from structural and architectural works to finishes and handover. Leading a team of foremen, trades, labourers, and subcontractors, you’ll be responsible for daily operations, quality control and ensuring every aspect of the build runs safely, efficiently, and to the high standards Fletcher Higgins is known for.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Supervising structural and architectural works across multiple work zones
• Coordinating subcontractors and managing on-site resources
• Overseeing construction quality, logistics and materials
• Monitoring safety and ensuring compliance with building codes and company standards
• Driving productivity and resolving site issues swiftly and professionally

Who We’re Looking For

This is a role for a true leader, someone with strong construction knowledge, a passion for teamwork, and deep experience.

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

• Have more than 5 years’ experience leading construction teams on large commercial builds
• Hold a trade qualification in carpentry or general construction (supervisory certificates a bonus)
• Are confident reading plans, managing subcontractors and coordinating site logistics.
• Understand local building codes, permitting processes, and the realities of construction in Fiji.
• Lead from the front –hands-on, safety-focussed, and respected by your team.

This role is ideal for a seasoned supervisor ready to step into a senior leadership position.
