As Concierge/Guest Services Agent, you will assist in the delivery of guest requests and enquiries to ensure complete guest satisfaction. You will also be a brand ambassador and develop great working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different at IHG, but you’ll mostly be:
- Assist guests with all inquiries, both hotel and non-hotel related.
- Manage all guests’ mails, courier services, postage, telexes and special deliveries in accordance with the hotel policy.
- Manage emails and update logbook about emails to take note that requires bell services and airport representative’s knowledge.
- Maintain order and security of guest keys and other selected keys kept in Front Office and ensuring key issue policy is followed.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of daily activities in and outside of the hotel.
- Assist superior with all team member related matters (staffing, training, providing constructive feedback).
- Ensure that all guests’ luggage are received and delivered upon arrival and departure even for baggage storage pertaining to the hotel’s procedures.
- Be aware of daily arrivals and departures with emphasis on VIPs and IHG Rewards members.
- Supervise traffic control along the driveway during peak hours.
- Ensure sufficient manpower coverage at the main lobby.
What we expect from you:
- Certificate in Hospitality and/or Customer Service.
- Minimum 1 year of related work experience.
- Able to work rotating shifts, including night shifts.
- Able to stand long hours and lift weights of at least 10kg.
- Independent and motivated individual with friendly personality.
