SSCG Compliance Manager

The South Sea Cruises Group (SSCG) is Fiji’s leading marine tourism operator offering a wide range of award-winning products and services throughout the stunning Mamanuca & Yasawa Islands. Brands operated include South Sea Cruises, Blue Lagoon Cruises, Malamala Beach Club, South Sea Sailing, South Sea Island and recently announced South Sea Cats.

We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Compliance Manager to be responsible for all matters compliance related for the South Sea Cruises Group. The successful candidate will need to have an excellent track record and be familiar with the ISO certification processes. The successful candidate will be expected to be self-driven and able to set and achieve clear objectives that are aligned with the company’s strategy.

This a middle management position within SSCG, and therefore an attractive remuneration and benefit package is on offer for the successful applicant. The position is based at Port Denarau, Fiji with limited travel required within the Mamanuca & Yasawa Islands

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Ensure SSCG is fully compliant with all statutory and regulatory requirements (non-financial).
• Ensure SSCG SOPs, Compliance certifications and Safe Ship Management Manuals are updated; in line with statutory and company requirements - work with HODs in ensuring staff are trained in these documents and
• Experience in achieving and maintaining ISO Certification especially for ISO 14001:2015; ISO 45001:2018; ISO 9001:2015 and ISO31000:2018.
• University Degree in Administration and or marine studies with 2-3 years’ experience in Quality Assurance or a combination of relevant work experience and education.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is
