The Company Driver will be responsible for transporting Fiji Airways Staff to and from work, as well as handle deliveries from business locations and residential properties in a timely manner.
This role will report to the Transport Coordinator.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Follow traffic laws and drive defensively to ensure the safe transportation of staff and packages at all times.

Assist with the loading and offloading of packages from vehicle.

Ensure efficiency in maintaining transport schedule.

Provide assistance to ensure effective and efficient administrative requirements are met.

Research, plan and use navigation applications to determine best route considering traffic, construction work and weather delays.

Carry out vehicle maintenance checks, report defects and arrange for vehicle repairs as required.

Ensure vehicle cleanliness is maintained at all times.

Keeps an update record of mileage and repairs.

Ensure a desired level of service and professional customer interaction as all times.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Transport Clerk or the Manager Fleet & Transport.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Applicants should be a Fijian Citizen.

Must have a Full Valid Fiji driver's license consisting of Classes 2, 3, 4 an added advantage with classes 5, 6.

Must have a valid Defensive Drivers Certificate.

Must have at least 3 years of driving experience

Must have successfully completed at least Form 6 or Year 12 or can demonstrate aptitude through passenger carrying driver experience of at least 8 years with a recognized passenger transport provider.

Extensive knowledge of operating areas.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Good verbal communication.

Excellent at following written instructions in English

Must be proficient with using GPS devices
