CERTIFIED 6G WELDERS

As part of Steel Fabrication team, the successful incumbent will be responsible for structural welding inspections, repairs and maintenance services of all equipment such as line haul trucks, fuel tankers, trailers, forklifts, steel fabrication, pipes and auto body.

To be successful in this role, you must have the following:

• A minimum of Grade 10 certificate
• Vocational or Technical Certificate in Metal Fabrication and Welding
• Certification in 6G Pipe Welding in accordance with the Australian Standard.
• Tradesman Certificate as Welder (MFW) through a formal apprenticeship training program.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar role and can do MIG, TIG, MMAW, Air Arc Grouping, Flame Welding and use of Power Cut.
• Ability and willingness to lead and work with minimum supervision at all times.
• Some experience and knowledge about workplace Safety Standards and Policies especially on welding safety practices.
