Jack's of Fiji invites applications from suitably qualified personnel for the position of Category Allocator for its PNG operation to be based at our Jack's of Fiji Head Office in Nadi. The successful applicant will report to the Procurement Manager.

CATEGORY ALLOCATOR
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
• Provide crucial support to the product team by taking an active role in analyzing sales trends, monitoring deliveries and maintaining stock levels;
• Ensure that stock is directed to stores in the right volumes at the right time to optimize profitability;
• Analyze stock & sales reporting to determine allocation approaches that address style/color/size needs at store level in order to meet and exceed sales goals;
• Analyze and Identify current sales trends based on store performance;
• Review store inventory plans by sub sub group to effectively balance distributions;
• Key point of contact for stores regarding stock requirements;
• Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure effective movement of stock through the stores;
• Work with the planner to capture sales trends, identify key business drivers and constant process improvement;
• Participate in store visits; communicate findings and recommendations;
• Work with the product category leader and planner to achieve category merchandise goals;
• Set up and maintain range and allocation plans; and
• Any other ad hoc duties as reasonably requested.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
• Pass in Fiji Year 12 Examination;
• 1-2 years of experience in retail and/or office environment preferred;
• Able to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines;
• Demonstrates logical analysis and problem solving skills;
Possesses an ability to understand financial measurements and how to impact them;
• Demonstrates strong listening, written and oral communication skills;
• Able to deliver strong and thorough presentations, clearly identifying business issues and decisions;
• Able to organize and prioritize - demonstrate logical analysis and problem solving skills;
• Able to build and maintain productive relationships with cross-functional teams;
• Good Knowledge on use of computers and must have knowledge on use of Excel;
• Group-2 drivers license would be an added advantage; and
• Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed.
