BAT Samoa is seeking to recruit a dynamic, and passionate individual in the Business Development Executive role. The role is responsible for the planning and development of cycle activities, managing sales software system and providing analytical and reporting support for the Marketing team.
Reporting directly to the Planning and Activations Manager, the role will require the following key accountabilities and qualifications:
Key accountabilities:
- Development and monitoring of strategic plans to support the growth of brands in the market (volume, share, and profit) across all targeted areas.
- Support the Planning & Activations Manager in the development and delivery of commercial cycle activities.
- Provide internal stakeholders a consolidated pre and post review of all commercial cycle activity plans.
- Lead the collection, analysis, and compilation of results for the Trade Field Force Incentive Scheme
- Lead the RCS8 implementation for the Trade Coverage Plan ensuring all mass data uploads are carried out seamlessly.
- Lead and manage the RCS8 database ensuring the integrity of the customer database.
- Support Trade Leadership Team by providing analytical analysis on trade coverage plan execution.
- Work in collaboration with Demand Planning Executive by providing brand insights to ensure that market assumptions are accurately included in the forecasting process.
- Work closely with cross functional local teams to deliver on cycle activity projects and timelines.
- Conduct regular pulse check market visits in Field to validate ongoing market activities and macro environment.
- To drive and support Trade by delivering on monthly trainings and maintaining a 24mo learning and development calendar.
- Contribute to building a positive work environment and a success driven culture within the team.
Qualifications and Essential Attributes:
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in Marketing Communications/Business Commercials/Business Management and/or similar areas.
- University degree in Marketing, Business Management, Economics, or related field is an added advantage.
- Excellent analytical & reporting skills.
- Expert at managing self and able to manage teams.
- Ability to learn quickly and on the go with a solutions focused attitude.
- Valid Driver’s license is favored.
