Pepper Advantage Hub (Fiji) is seeking for a Business Analyst role to support the delivery of change within the Pepper business by analyzing business processes and ensuring that requirements are clearly defined, appropriately designed and input to the development process as part of the project delivery lifecycle and change controls items. The Business Analyst will also carry out testing activities as part of root cause analysis and UAT.
The Business Analyst is a subject matter expert (SME) on Pepper systems and will work across all departments and portfolios, including Operations, IT, PMO, CRE, Compliance, Lending, Finance & MI and Pepper clients to ensure all business requirements are defined and delivered to provide maximum benefit to the business.
The Business Analyst reports to Head of Operational Excellence and is part of the Residential mortgages team. Will assist the Head of Operational Excellence in managing the full life cycle of a change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct high quality business analysis and provide clear business requirement documentation
- Proactively engage with the management team within Residential Mortgages to document business improvements and/or issues.
- Elicit and document business requirements with end users and stakeholders.
- Create Business Requirements Documents and Functional Specifications across all departments in the Residential Mortgages function.
- Communication of the requirements to IT and support IT implementation.
- Support the deployment of the change.
- Communication to the business / client.
- Assist with solution testing and deployment to production.
- Business Support.
- Proactively identify and escalate opportunities, threats and best practice in order to drive continuous improvement.
- Assist in closing errors raised by identifying root cause.
- Review and approve items requiring CCB approval submitted in JIIRA
- Work closely with the BI team to document reporting requirements.
- Work closely with the Head of Operational Excellence on the coordination of information for the CBI.

- Facilitate Knowledge Share sessions across the team
Requirements:
- Candidate needs to be flexible in terms of working hours (Ideally from 8 pm to 5.30 am FJT).
- Recognized IT Qualification (desirable).
- Recognized Business Design / Change Management Certification (desirable).
- Recognized Project Management Qualification.
- Change management skills.
- Significant experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools.
- Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics.
- Problem solving and root cause identification skills.
- Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization.
- Must be team player and able to work collaboratively.
- Acute business acumen and understanding or organizational issues and challenges.
- Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
