Pacific Palms Property under Steamships Trading Company is in search of a proven, capable and results-driven individual for the position of a Building Management System (BMS) Manager with emphasis on automated meter readings is a key role responsible for overseeing the efficient operation and maintenance of building automation systems, particularly focusing on automated meter readings.

Role Description

This is a full-time role based in Port Moresby, National Capital District, Papua New Guinea. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and strategic thinking to optimize energy management and operational efficiency within buildings. As a BMS Manager, your primary responsibilities are as follows;

• Automated Metering System Management: Design, implement, and manage automated metering systems for various utilities including electricity, water, gas, and other resources with the facilities.
• BMS Oversight: Supervise the operation, maintenance, and optimization of the Building Management System (BMS) infrastructure.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize metering data and BMS analytics to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Energy Efficiency Initiatives: Lead energy conservation initiatives and sustainability projects aimed at reducing energy consumption, carbon footprint, and operational costs.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on relevant regulations, codes and standards related to energy management and building automation.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for metering projects, system upgrades, maintenance activities, and energy efficiency initiatives.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 5 years or more experience in facility management, building automation or related field is necessary.
• Work in Industrial environment

Qualifications and Key Competencies

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Facility Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
