Your day to day

We are looking for enthusiastic and professional team players who know how to deliver great service and exceed guest expectations. Ideally you will:

  • Meet with clients to understand their event requirements, including budget, guest count, menu preferences, and any special requests.
  • Assist in selecting event dates, times, and suitable banquet rooms or spaces within the venue.
  • Help manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for events. Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate expectations and updates.
  • Oversee aspects of event setup, including room layout, decorations, audio-visual equipment, and table arrangements.
  • Ensure that all equipment and facilities are in working order and that the venue is clean and well-maintained.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and catering teams to ensure the timely preparation and service of food and beverages.
  • Be able to assist in other F&B departments when required
What we need from you

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Banquet/Events or Restaurant/Bar or related positions, preferably within a hotel/hospitality environment
  • Strong supervisory skills and good interpersonal relationships.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills with great attention to detail
  • The flexibility to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts
  • Compliance with local laws on food handling and serving alcohol
  • Great communication – you’ll be warm, welcoming, and easy to talk to
