Your day to day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

  • Moulding breads and sweet doughs by hand
  • Baking products to a consistently high standard.
  • Prepare a selection of rolls and breads
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene and Health and safety regulations
  • Follow proper handling and right temperature of all food products
  • Prepare a selection of specialty items
  • Prepare a selection of bread art.
  • Maintain sanitation, cleanliness, safety and health standards. Inspect the sanitation, operation and cleanliness of all tools, equipment and supplies, including ovens.  Alert management of potentially serious issues

What we need from you

We are looking for enthusiastic and professional team members who knows how to deliver great service and exceed guest expectations & provide a high-level of service excellence to our resort guests. To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate in Baking and/or Patisserie certification
  • 2 years related experience
  • Strong background in HACCP procedures and application
  • Good practical, operational and adequate administrative skills.
  • A team player, proactive, responsible, hardworking, and able to work under pressure.
  • Flexibility– due to the nature of the hospitality industry. you may be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays
