Carpenters Shipping is a well-established shipping & forwarding Agency and heavy transport and logistics business. We are seeking to employ experienced and proactive individuals for the Automotive Electrician position to be based in Suva.
Key Duties:
- Carry out installation and maintenance of electrical equipment in vehicles
- Diagnose, repair and replacement of electronics and electrical components
- Identify and repair faults on electronically controlled vehicle systems
- Able to install electronic components
- Carry out vehicle wiring as per safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Maintain an open mindset of networking that brings business opportunities to the company
- Test machines for any additional repairs needed
- Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the company’s vision, mission and values in all interactions with customers and co-workers
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and safety standards
Requirements:
- Trade Certificate in Auto-Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy vehicle Automotive Engineering industry
- Able to perform electrical diagnosis
- Able to work with minimum supervision
- Highly motivated, reliable, honest and punctual
