We are on the lookout for an experienced Assistant Front Office Manager.

JOB SUMMARY
• Report directly to and communicate with the Front Office Manager on all pertinent matters affecting guest service and hotel operations.
• Assist in overseeing and directing all aspects of the Front Office Department ensuring that guests receive prompt, professional attention and personal recognition.
• Inspect front of house and back of house regularly for cleanliness and report any issues and assist in greeting, rooming and departure of VIP guests
• Supervise and direct-Reception, Porters and Switchboard
• Check billing instructions and monitor guests’ credit
• Analyse the rate variance report to ensure room revenue control

REQUIREMENTS
• Prior experience in a similar role is required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Sound awareness of Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Ability to multi-task
• Customer-oriented with the ability to establish good relations
