Credit Corporation (PNG) Limited is recruiting a suitable candidate for the role of Assistant Executive Housekeeper.
The Assistant Executive Housekeeper will assist the Executive Housekeeper to oversee and direct all activities relating to the housekeeping operations for Era Matana Estate and Era Dorina Estate.
- Plan and oversee daily work schedules for the housekeeping team, ensuring staff are assigned tasks.
- Ensure the estates are always kept clean, neat and presentable to brand standards
- Schedule shifts and ensure that there is always adequate cover for the team to complete allocated tasks.
- Lead and build a team of like-minded housekeeping professionals for the benefit of all stakeholders
- In collaboration with relevant stakeholders (including suppliers) develop and run training for all housekeeping staff
- Attend to all tenant requests, enquiries and complaints ensuring that all matters are resolved within set time frames to brand standards
- Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies and procedures
- Monitor and replenish all cleaning products, equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) to par levels
- Ensure all checks, inspection and delegated duties are performed to a high standard and within agreed company HSSE standards.
- Monitor and maintain all product and performance standards and ensure action is taken when standards are not met.
- Monitor Housekeeping personnel to ensure all tenants and internal customers receive prompt and courteous service.
- Inspect guest and public areas on a regular basis to ensure that the furnishings, facilities, and equipment are clean and in good condition.
- Conducts regular department meetings including toolboxes
Key requirements
- Certificate in Tourism & Hospitality or equivalent
- 3 years of housekeeping experience in a supervisory capacity
- 2 years of line-level experience in all aspects of housekeeping
- Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to foster a happy and conducive work environment
- Must possess intermediate or advanced MS Office skills
- Working experience in the Hotel Industry / Executive Apartments would be an advantage
- Positive work ethics, high standard of personal presentation and ability to multi-task
