Assistant Club Manager
- Key liaison person between club members, suppliers, employees
- 5+ years of Hospitality, Hotel or Club industry experience
- Rotation of 4 weeks onsite and 2 weeks offsite - Lihir Island
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing a social club or similar.
• Hospitality, Hotel or Club industry experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Successful operation of the social club services.
• Overall management, promotion, and supervision of the club’s activities, functions & business.
• Added responsibilities will include overseeing administrative, accounting, bar operations, catering, deli, coffee shop, premises, entertainment and community activities and more.
• Key liaison person between club members, suppliers, employees and other associated persons individuals and groups.
• Mentor & train staff.
The preferred candidate should possess the following:
• The capability to pay attention to detail.
• Must have the ability to solve basic problems.
• Proficiency in financial management, including budgeting, cost control, reporting & accounting procedures.
• Mature, sound and stable temperament.
• Good organizational skills.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to delegate & supervise staff effectively.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work with all levels of staff.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Must have current Police Clearance (validity of 12months).
• Must have current Pre-Employment Medical (validity of 12months).
Conditions of Employment:
• Rotation of 4 weeks onsite and 2 weeks offsite.
• Uniforms, accommodation & messing provided onsite.
