We are recruiting an Assistant Chief Engineer.
General responsibilities
Delivering excellent service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Recruit, induct, train, and performance manage workforce.
Ensure Hotel compliance with work health safety regulations.
Develop, recommend, implement, and manage the division's budget, capital expenditure plan, forecasts, and objectives consistent with maintaining a first-class property and management's expectations
Manage inventory and stock control of the site.
Maintain accurate records, including invoicing and other organizational administrative compliance.
Ensure proper execution of the work order/request system and that items are followed up on when necessary.
Improve service by communicating and assisting individuals to understand guest needs, providing guidance, feedback, and individual coaching when needed
Display professional conduct, sound judgment, the highest level of professional integrity, and a strong work ethic
Implement preventive maintenance schedules, policies, and rules to ensure an efficient department and well-maintained physical product
Adhere to company procurement procedures
Selection Criteria:
About you:
Passion for delivering customer service excellence
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Results-driven with an ability to prioritize and coordinate your team
Ability to obtain and/or maintain any government-required licenses, certificates, or permits
Previous hotel experience, luxury or Forbes experience preferred
Relevant Certificate and qualification preferred but not required
Must be able to stay organized and problem-solve effectively in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment, handling many tasks at the same time.
Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is required
