The Stanley Hotel and Suites is on the lookout to hire a qualified and dedicated Administration Officer to join the Purchasing Department.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Director of Purchasing and will be required to assist with the overall administrative duties in support of the hotel’s Purchasing Department.

Main Responsibilities:
• Assist with the processing of invoices and sourcing quotes.
• Data entry into Materials Control to order required items.
• Answer phone calls, do follow-up and attend to queries with professionalism.
• Communicate directly with suppliers to ensure stock movement and delivery.
• Assist the Purchasing warehouse team with delivery of stock, stock count during month end and unpacking of stock when required.
• Other duties as directed by the Director of Purchasing.

Personal Attributes:
• Excellent planning and time management skills (ability to prioritise and meet deadlines).
• Innovative with excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including on weekends and public holidays when required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suites, especially with Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge in Shipping and Logistics would be an advantage.
• Sound awareness of Occupational Health & Safety policies and procedures.
