We are seeking a self-motivated, energetic and dynamic individual looking for a long-term career growth opportunity to join our Finance Team in the following position.

ACCOUNTANT - CORPORATE (Head Office - Nadi)

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
• Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and reports within agreed timelines; Maintenance of the general ledger,
• Pro-actively track the company wide insurance coverage to ensure adequate cover is maintained at all
times
• Assist in budgeting/forecasting, financial analysis and day-to-day finance responsibilities;
• Produce monthly, quarterly and annual Financial Statements;
Prepare monthly variance analysis and explanations in conjunction with the Accounting Team;
• Maintain balance sheet items, including but not limited to fixed assets, payables, receivables, and accruals schedules;
• Oversee and ensure the companies are compliant with statutory returns and payments deadlines;
• Complete and submit statutory surveys of respective assigned companies;
• Perform reconciliation of general ledger accounts;
Assist external auditors with annual account audits and statutory audits;
• Provide assistance in various finance projects which drive automation and efficiency:
• Work with the divisional Finance Teams in developing and maintaining key metric reporting and ad hoc reporting requirements; and
• Assist in special projects as directed by senior team members

Qualifications and Experience:

• Applicant must possess Bachelors Degree in Accounting and Financial Management and at least 1-2 years' experience in a finance role.
•  Effective verbal and written communication and excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
• Attention to detail, strong analytical skills and ability to deliver results to meet tight deadlines in a fast paced and dynamic environment; and Strong Organization, Communication and Interpersonal Skills
• Ability to work under pressure, ensuring compliance with deadlines, establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with all staff,
