RETAIL MANAGEMENT - ACCOUNTANT
(Head Office - Nadi)
Position Overview:
The Retail Management Accountant will play a critical role in supporting the financial health and operational efficiency of our retail business. This position is responsible for providing financial insights, managing budgets, analysing financial performance, and supporting strategic decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail finance, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to communicate financial information effectively to non- financial stakeholders.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
•Prepare detailed weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports specific to the retail sector.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Analyse financial performance and variances against budgets and forecasts.
• Produce regular management reports, including profitability analysis and cost control reports.
•Identify opportunities for improving financial processes and systems
•Implement best practices and process enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial operations.
•Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry standards.
• Assist with the preparation of audit schedules and support external audits.

Qualifications and Experience:
Applicant must possess Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Management Accountant or similar role.
•Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP B1, Tableau) and Microsoft Excel.
•Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in management accounting, preferably within the retail sector.

•Strong Organization, Communication and Interpersonal Skills
•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Ability to work under pressure, ensuring compliance with deadlines, establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with all staff.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information.
