Ramada by Wyndham Port Vila (RBWPV) is seeking a suitable candidate to appoint for the following position.
Resort Driver
The main purpose of this position is to provide safe, reliable, and professional transportation services for resort guests, staff, and goods while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
Reporting to the Front Office Manager, the Resort Driver is responsible for transporting guests to and from the airport and other designated locations, delivering resort supplies, and ensuring resort vehicles are maintained in a clean, safe, and roadworthy condition.
To be successful as a Resort Driver, you should demonstrate excellent driving skills, outstanding customer service, and a commitment to safety at all times.
Resort Driver Responsibilities:
- Safely transport guests, staff, and resort supplies as required.
- Provide a friendly, professional, and welcoming experience for all guests.
- Assist guests with luggage during arrivals and departures.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
- Ensure vehicles remain clean, presentable, and properly maintained.
- Follow all road safety regulations and company driving policies.
- Maintain accurate vehicle logbooks and trip records.
- Assist other departments with deliveries and operational support when required.
- Respond promptly to scheduled airport transfers and guest transportation requests.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism and confidentiality.
Abilities/Skills:
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Excellent knowledge of road safety rules and defensive driving practices.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and well presented.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
