We are now seeking suitably qualified industry professionals with outstanding knowledge, expertise, and experience of a luxury product to join our dynamic team for the following positions:

 

Maintenance Manager

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of property maintenance, facility operations, and preventative maintenance programs to ensure optimal guest experience and property functionality. This role manages maintenance staff, coordinates with department heads, and maintains compliance with all safety and regulatory standards while controlling operational budgets.

Requirements, Qualifications and Skills:

  • An overall period of 10 years in maintenance operations of which a minimum of 5+ years of maintenance experience in hospitality industry including 3+ years in a supervisory role
  • Computer literate with excellent skills in MS programs
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems maintenance
  • Universal Certification for refrigerant handling
  • Experience with desalination plants, diesel generators, bio-cycle or tertiary stage sewage treatment systems and swimming pools
  • Experience with hotel property management systems and maintenance software
  • Experience managing capital improvement projects and renovation work
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements for hospitality properties
  • Proven ability to manage maintenance budgets and control operational costs
  • Ability to manage, train, and co-ordinate the maintenance & landscape team.
  • Strong knowledge of OHS safety standards and compliance requirements
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for emergency situations
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Physical capability to perform maintenance tasks including lifting 20 kgs and working at heights
