This position reports to the Manager Domestic Markets in the Financial Markets Group. The Domestic Markets Unit plans and implements the Bank’s operations and interventions in the domestic money market, monitors developments, and identifies the implications these have for monetary and other policies. The successful candidate will assist in conducting research and analysis to support the achievement and ongoing review of the Bank’s domestic market development objectives. The candidate will further assist in implementing monetary policy and providing banking and securities registry services.
The successful candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics/Accounting/Banking and Finance and or any related discipline. Candidates must also be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Other attributes include strong interpersonal and communication skills, analytical skills and strong attention to detail. The candidate should be able to work under pressure with minimum supervision, forward and critical thinking, good time management and the ability to work in a team and deliver timely results.
