Are you passionate about creating delicious gourmet meals and being involved in a talented and close knit kitchen team? We are a popular small hotel in beautiful Maui Bay, seeking a dedicated Head Chef to elevate our culinary offerings within a brand new kitchen.
Position: Head Chef
Salary: $32,000 - $45,000 per year (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily kitchen operations
• Develop and innovate menu options
• Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff
• Maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and hygiene
• Manage inventory and ensure cost control
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Head Chef, Executive Chef or Sous Chef of a 4-5 star hotel
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Able to communicate clearly and confidently with international tourists
• Passion for local and international cuisine
• Ability to work under pressure in a small team
