YOUR PROFILE
As a Handyman, you will be responsible for carrying out general maintenance and repair work across the resort to ensure our facilities, guest rooms, and public areas are always maintained to the highest standard. You’ll support the Engineering team in daily operations and assist in maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-presented environment for guests and ambassadors alike.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform general repair and maintenance tasks around resort i.e. plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical assistance etc.
Proactively conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and other departments.
Ensure all tools and work areas are kept clean and organized.
Assist the Engineering team with larger projects and emergency repairs.
SKILLS & GUIDELINES
Trade Certificate or equivalent qualification in electrical, air-conditioning or general maintenance.
Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in a similar sized resort.
Good understanding of basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
Demonstrates excellent knowledge of safe work practices, with the ability to operate and maintain electrical equipment and small hand tools.
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to any shift pattern.
