ERP Coordinator (Enterprise Resource Planning)

The ERP Coordinator is responsible for collaborating with all functional support leads, Fiji Airways' IT personnel, and vendor technical administrators to ensure the successful development, ongoing support, and integration of Fiji Airways' Engineering Control Computer Program (AMOS).

This role also provides oversight within the Engineering, Technical, and Maintenance areas, ensuring that AMOS applications are effectively managed, maintained, and aligned with operational requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement project plans for the maintenance and upgrades of AMOS.
  • Work closely with the Fiji Airways Information Technology department to review and install new software releases, system upgrades, and patches.
  • Monitor AMOS database migrations and restorations.
  • Coordinate, architect, enhance, and test AMOS projects to meet airline requirements.
  • Identify solutions and implement process improvements to optimize system usage.
  • Manage configuration change processes and coordinate testing activities (UAT) to support system architecture and integration across applications.
  • Collaborate with line managers, coordinators, and Swiss-AS to facilitate cross-functional business process discussions.
  • Provide direct supervision to ERP Analysts, including daily work allocation.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, requirements traceability, and operational communications.
  • Oversee day-to-day support and maintenance of AMOS, proactively communicating outages and enhancements to users.
  • Manage AMOS user access and promote ongoing learning and skills development.
  • Ensure system performance and reliability by monitoring availability and response times; work with IT to resolve performance issues.
  • Raise and manage support cases with Swiss-AS Support and IT to address system errors.
  • Lead the AMOS Competence Centre, engaging ERP Analysts and key users to drive organizational change and adopt new AMOS functionalities.
  • Develop and facilitate training programs for the Engineering Department and support the Competence Centre in AMOS training delivery.
  • Assess and plan for future AMOS growth requirements (database size, user base, and functionality).
  • Act as the accountable lead for Projects Department operations in the absence of the Manager Engineering Special Projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager Engineering Special Projects.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience, including at least 2 years of professional experience in implementing and maintaining ERP applications, databases, and servers.
  • Knowledge of commercial aviation processes and procedures, including regulatory requirements, is advantageous.
  • An IT background with a strong understanding of aviation policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Additional relevant education may be considered in place of the minimum experience requirement.
