Company Driver
This role reports to the Transport Coordinator and is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of customers, as well as handling deliveries from business and residential locations. The incumbent ensures compliance with traffic laws, follows designated routes, maintains sufficient fuel, keeps the vehicle in roadworthy condition, and ensures the interior of the vehicle is clean and presentable.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Safe transportation of staff and/or packages to and from destinations.

The Company driver is expected to demonstrate exceptional punctuality, operational efficiency, and consistently uphold high service standards throughout their shift

Follow traffic laws and drive defensively to ensure safety at all times.

Arrive at destination on schedule.

Load and offload bags and packages on and off vehicle.

Fulfil administrative needs, like office pickups.
-
Research and plan for traffic, construction and weather delays.

Use navigation applications to determine the best route.

Interact with staff professionally at all times.

Carry out maintenance checks and ensures that the vehicle is always clean, fuelled and ready for use.

Report defects on vehicle and arrange for vehicle repairs as needed.

Ensure all windows and interior of the vehicle is clean at all times.

Keep mileage records and repair records up-to-date at all times.

Perform any other duties as assigned by the Transport Coordinator or Manager Transport.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Applicants should be a Fijian Citizen.
-
Must have a Full Valid Fiji driver's license consisting of Classes 2, 3, 4 with classes 5, 6 as an added advantage.

Must have a valid Defensive Drivers Certificate.

Must have at least 3 years of driving experience.

Must have successfully completed at least Form 6 or Year 12 or can demonstrate aptitude through passenger carrying driver experience of at least 8 years with a recognized passenger transport provider.

Extensive knowledge of operating areas.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Exceptional interpersonal skills

Good verbal communication.

Excellent at following written instructions in English

Must be proficient with using GPS devices

A through medical assessment will be conducted prior to employment.
