Positions available: Reservation Supervisor (Island Based)
Person applying should have attained Tertiary qualification in similar role or equivalent to two to three years’ experience in similar role.
Some key responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Sales and Reservation Manager
- Reply to inquiries via the company website/emails on accommodation, bookings, wedding and groups, forwarding information and replying emails.
- Update the team on the sales figures of the current and upcoming months.
- Assist in ways of product promotion and sale.
- Handle orders and requisitions both internally and externally.
- Visiting the island to host site inspections for Travel Agents/Partners.
- Coordinate travel itineraries, accommodations and expenses sheets of the sales team.
- Attend trade shows for promotions etc.
- Complete sales meeting data, templates, and presentations.
- Assist the Sales Managers in preparing schedules for the team.
- Coordinating with sales and marketing team (local/overseas) in reaching set goals and keeping their markets updated about the resort.
- Creating specials and campaigns for travel agents and keeping track of their expiry dates.
- Updating client’s contacts and sending out Resort updates when required.
- Creating and designing materials used for advertisements and specials for sale of product.
- Meet and greet guests when required.
- Liaise with other resorts in regards to redirected guests, accommodations and transfers.
- Assist reservations, when they are short staffed.
- Assist Wedding Department in regards to running errands for licensing, meet and greet of couples and sending items to the island.
- Assist the line staff and provide on Job Training
