Job Description

  • Prepare basic sauces, derivatives & omelette’s.
  • Sanitize Fruits & Vegetables, prepare salads, garnishes and vegetables.
  • Butchery – Trim/ Fillet/Dice Various Meat plus Skin and filet fish.
  • Prepare toasted and plain sandwiches.
  • Assemble Meals & monitor ready Pre-set /cart assembly as required as per specification.
  • Carry out bulk makeup and supplementary items.
  • ​Carry out Food Safety duties as directed: decanting, sort food items in the order of shelf life.
  • Ensure the safety, security and efficiency of such operations, as well as compliance with the requirements of customer airlines and relevant authorities.
  • Carry out any other additional tasks, as required.

Requirements

  • Certificate in Commercial Cookery or equivalent from a recognized institution followed by at least one (1) year’s related Cookery experience.
  • Pastry experience would be an advantage
