A Horse Groomer is responsible for ensuring the well-being of the horses that are part of the Hotel’s Recreational facilities. You will ensure that the horses are in great shape and condition for the guest experience with nature.

What will I be doing?

As a Horse Groomer, you will be responsible for:

• Bathe and brush horses to maintain their coat and remove dirt and debris.
• Clean and sanitize horse equipment, including saddles, bridles, and grooming tools.
• Muck out stalls and ensure a clean-living environment for the horses.
• Provide hay, feed, and supplements as needed, ensuring proper nutrition for each horse.
• Monitor the health and condition of horses, identifying any signs of illness or distress.
• Prepare horses for riding by saddling and bridling them, ensuring the equipment fits properly and is comfortable.
• Assist riders by tacking up and untacking horses before and after each riding excursion.
• Exercise horses through lunging, hand-walking, or riding, depending on the needs of the horse and the instructions.
• Warm up and cool down horses before and after each activity session to prevent injuries.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization around the horses and the surrounding areas.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with:

• Previous experience with horses or similar animals

• Minimum of F 6 Pass

• Excellent Communication Skills

• Ability to hold a conversation and build rapport with guests

• Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks

• Committed, Reliable, and Flexible
