We are inviting applications from experienced and dynamic procurement professionals for the role of:

GROUP PURCHASING MANAGER

As Group Purchasing Manager, you will take a strategic leadership role in overseeing the full spectrum of procurement functions across both resorts. You will be responsible for designing and executing procurement strategies that ensure efficient, cost-effective, and compliant purchasing practices aligned with the operational and sustainability goals of Ahura Resorts.

This is a critical leadership position that requires commercial acumen, integrity, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of group-wide procurement strategies aligned with the company’s strategic goals.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure consistent supply, value for money, ethical sourcing, and timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Oversee contract negotiations, pricing analysis, and vendor performance management.
  • Establish and maintain procurement systems, policies, and controls to ensure transparency, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality or service standards.
  • Collaborate with department heads and island operations teams to anticipate and fulfill procurement needs efficiently.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop purchasing team members, instilling a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Monitor market trends, supply risks, and pricing fluctuations to ensure resilient and forward-looking procurement practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A relevant postgraduate qualification will be an advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven procurement management experience, ideally in a 4-5 star resort or hospitality environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in tender management, procurement systems, and inventory control.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and financial reporting skills.
  • Sound knowledge of procurement compliance, audit requirements, and ethical sourcing standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using Materials Control (MC) procurement software.

Remuneration & Benefits:

This role is based on the mainland with periodic travel to the islands. A competitive salary package will be negotiated, commensurate with qualifications and experience, along with additional benefits that support work-life balance and professional development.
