Job Description

 

Reporting to our Accommodation Director, you are responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and comfort throughout our Resort. You will effectively manage cleaning and laundry operations, ensuring that each area of the Resort meets our brand's quality standards, while contributing to the continuous improvement of our guests' experience. You will also be responsible for managing operational costs and optimizing allocated budgets, with a focus on profitability and performance.

  • Cleaning Operations Management: Supervise cleaning teams, plan interventions, and ensure an impeccable level of cleanliness in all rooms, public areas, and Resort facilities.
  • Laundry Management: Ensure that laundry management (linen, sheets, towels, etc.) is carried out on time and with optimal quality. Ensure proper inventory management and order tracking.
  • Compliance with norms and standards: Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards, ensuring that internal procedures are scrupulously followed. Enforce cleaning procedures specific to each type of space (rooms, public areas, kitchens, etc.).
  • Cost and Budget Management: Track and control maintenance and laundry expenses. Optimize processes to reduce costs while maintaining high service quality.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Supervise, motivate, and train the housekeeping and laundry teams. Identify development needs and organize team development to ensure exceptional service quality.
  • Inter-departmental collaboration: Work closely with all departments to ensure smooth coordination of operations, while respecting everyone's priorities.
  • Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in the improvement of procedures and processes by proposing innovative solutions to improve efficiency and the experience of our customers.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Professional experience: You have significant experience in a similar position in the luxury hospitality sector. Ideally, you have previous experience in French Polynesia or in an overseas island position.
  • Leadership: You are a hands-on manager, capable of motivating and supporting your teams to achieve their goals. A leader by example, you know how to unite and develop the skills of your employees.
  • Organizational skills: You demonstrate great rigor and impeccable organization. You know how to manage priorities and maintain excellent quality of service in a dynamic environment.
  • Management: You are proficient in Opera Cloud and Pack Office. You have a good grasp of cost, budget, and resource management. You are able to analyze financial data and propose solutions to optimize spending.
  • Personal qualities: Pragmatic, positive, you are results-oriented and have an excellent sense of customer service. You have a proactive attitude and know how to work under pressure.
  • Languages: Working language: French required, English required

Access to employment in French Polynesia is subject to specific rules.
