What is the job?
Ready to show our guests you mean business? We’re searching for a new Pro-Active Sales Manager to manage our Sales strategies. You will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of the Sales department to provide exceptional products and services within brand operating standards. Acting as both brand ambassador and trusted partner – you’ll connect internal teams to deliver a seamless experience for planners, hosts and meeting attendees.
A little taste of your day-today:
Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:
- Responsible for driving all segments - Leisure, MICE, Corporate and Direct Bookings.
- Achieving set sales targets by the Director Of Sales & Marketing (DOSM) and KPI's of hotel.
- Sales role - Sourcing accounts, conducting sales calls, tele sales, creating contracts, driving conversions and creating/maintaining sales and revenues reports.
- Stay aligned with competition and market dynamics.
- Conducting Site Inspections and Entertainments as agreed with DOSM.
- Run projects and tasks as per business requirements.
- Participate in strategizing and budget preparation for all segments.
- Work closely with the marketing team on all promotions.
- Dynamic working hours.
- Ensure effective and productive coordination and service delivery with AV supplier.
- Ensure client feedback is communicated and acted upon internally and manage resolution of any issues with the client within 48 hours.
- At pre-event planning stage consult with meeting planners to optimise all elements of the meeting / event including space, meeting/break flow, menu and design etc. to improve meeting efficiency.
What we need from you:
- Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills, Strong Business acumen.
- Bachelor's Degree/higher education qualification/equivalent in hospitality or related
field.
- +5 years total experience in a 5-star resort setting or related field.
- Must speak English fluently.
- Flexibility - due to the nature of the hospitality industry, weekends and public holidays are commonly rostered and your shifts may vary to reflect business demands.
