NIGHT AUDITOR

Kokomo Private Island Fiji is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team to be based at Kokomo Private Island, Kadavu. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records, handling guest inquiries, and providing exceptional service during the overnight shift.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Perform nightly audits of financial transactions and records.
· Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
· Handle cash, credit card payments, deposits, and prepare cashier daily report.
· Pre-night audit checks
· Reconciling and balancing all accounts from current day
· Reconcile cashiering for the day
· Rollover property systems for the new day
· Prepare resorts reports and send to respective Head of departments
· Prepare reports for finance with the filing system.
· Highlight discrepancies with FOM upon completion of each shift
· Account for all guests, Ledger and in-house accounts
· Assisting the team for the next day by reviewing bookings, guest details, in-house guest and preparing collateral for arrival bookings for the next day
· Be familiar with the daily arrival and departure Run-sheet, updates and the notice board.
· Good knowledge of internal procedures, e.g., telephone procedures and etiquette, crisis management and departmental responsibilities.
· General understanding and Knowledge of the Front Office, Housekeeping & Food & Beverage operations in regards to guest stay on Island.
· Prepare all guest collateral including arrival cards, departure letters, guest bills and postcards.

Qualification & Attributes: 

· Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field is required.
· Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
· Mandatory Valid Driver’s license.
· Clean Police Clearance.
· 3+ years of experience working in a resort as a Night Auditor, or similar related position.
· Should be a customer-focused person with a thorough understanding of the hospitality industry's standards.
· Excellent communication abilities, both written and oral.
· Outstanding interpersonal and organisational skills.
· Safety Certifications (e.g., Fire Warden, First Aid) are beneficial.
