Your Day to Day:

As the Lobby Ambassador, you will be the welcoming face of the hotel, responsible for creating a warm, inviting, and service-oriented environment in the lobby. This guest-facing role focuses on engaging with guests, anticipating needs, providing information and directions, and supporting a seamless arrival and departure experience. You serve as the hotel’s brand ambassador, embodying the values of true hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Engagement & Welcome Experience

  • Warmly greet and acknowledge all guests entering the lobby.
  • Proactively approach guests to offer assistance with directions, hotel information, or general queries.
  • Identify and assist VIPs, long-stay guests, and guests with special needs.
  • Escort guests to check-in areas, elevators, or other facilities when necessary.

Lobby Oversight & Ambience

  • Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming lobby atmosphere at all times.
  • Ensure furniture is neat, signage is updated, and promotional materials are tidy and relevant.
  • Monitor guest behavior and flow in the lobby, supporting safety and order.

Support to Guest Services

  • Provide support to the Front Desk and Concierge team during high-traffic periods.
  • Assist in directing guests to transportation options, restaurants, or local attractions.
  • Report guest feedback, service concerns, or unusual observations to the Guest Experience Supervisor or Duty Manager.
  • Help with minor guest errands or service recovery actions when appropriate.

Brand & Service Representation

  • Promote hotel services, dining outlets and special events to walk-in guests.
  • Demonstrate Holiday Inn brand service behaviors and appearance standards.
  • Anticipate guest needs and offer thoughtful solutions or suggestions before being asked.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality, Tourism, or Customer Service preferred.
  • Prior guest service experience in hotels, retail, or events is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
  • Strong cultural awareness and the ability to engage with international guests.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Able to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
