Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced qualified Marine Coordinator to be based at Kokomo Private Island, Kadavu. If you are hardworking, honest, and eager to learn, we would love to hear from you!
The candidate we are seeking will have the following attributes:
- 2+years’ experience in a 6 Star Luxury Resort or similar related position
- An excellent telephone manner & customer service skills.
- Strong written & verbal communication skills.
- A can-do attitude and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent personal hygiene, grooming and presentation skills
- The ability & flexibility to work across a 7-day working environment, including weekends and public holidays.
- Proactive and creative mindset with excellent time-management skills and willingness to go the extra mile.
- Ability to work well autonomously, under pressure and remain calm, organized with great attention to detail
- Ability to live-on site and share facilities with other staff members
- A solid understanding of computer skills, along with experience in Opera and RA, would be highly beneficial.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- You will offer customers assistance at all times through professional telephone etiquette and by providing accurate and helpful information regarding the resort’s facilities and services ensuring accurate details are recorded.
- Assisting with reception and in-house guest enquiries.
- Liaise with GRO regarding activities and Guests bookings also receiving and directing Guests
- Attend to Watersports emails
- Fielding Telephone calls
- Attend to VHF calls and Mayday calls
- DPA-designated Person Ashore regarding issues that may affect the safe and efficient operational capabilities of Kokomo Vessels
- Making staff roster and schedules of work.
- Ensure a follow up on staff feedback and information.
- Providing Office Support to Marine Team
