Engineering Training Analyst
The Engineering Training Analyst reports directly to the Engineering Training Coordinator and is expected to possess a strong understanding of the training requirements within the Engineering and Maintenance Department.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Scan and archive training records in the designated Quality Assurance & Compliance folder.
- Notify People & Performance for training certificate issuance.
- Maintain accurate training data in AMOS, including user profile updates and certificate linking.
- Monitor training expiry dates and coordinate timely renewals.
- Administer Pelesys tasks and ensure integration with AMOS.
- Support training content updates in Pelesys Articulate as advised.
- Schedule training sessions, book venues, and confirm instructor and participant availability.
- Liaise with supervisors/managers for staff availability.
- Manage the department's training calendar and issue bi-annual plans.
- Coordinate logistics for external training, including travel and accommodation.
- Oversee daily training operations and ensure smooth delivery.
- Propose new training initiatives aligned with aviation standards.
- Assist in identifying annual training needs and drafting the training budget.
- Support the design and internal delivery of CAAF-approved training programs.
- Ensure new hires complete induction within specified timeframes.
- Coordinate with CAAF and Fiji Airports Limited on test renewals (ASOL, ADP, literacy).
- Evaluate training effectiveness and calculate ROI.
- Conduct needs assessments and align training with departmental goals.
- Maintain accurate training records and documentation.
- Generate reports on training status and effectiveness.
- Develop and update manuals, procedures, and training materials.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Engineering Training Coordinator.
- Stay updated with training best practices and methodologies.
- Assist with sourcing external training providers and managing agreements.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Diploma or Degree in Engineering or Business information or Training & Productivity or related field.

At least three (3) years administration experience in any related field and with good administrative ability and Aviation regulatory knowledge will be an advantage.

Successful completion of 'Training of Trainers' Modules I and II would be an added advantage.
