The Grand Pacific Hotel is on an historic journey as we transit into our Luxury & Lifestyle collection of becoming “InterContinental Grand Pacific Hotel Suva”, we have an opportunity within our Housekeeping team for a Room Attendant/Public Area Attendant.

As a Room Attendant/Public Area Attendant, you will support the team which will include but not limited to the following:

• Clean and tidy guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to the hotel's standards.
• Replace linens, towels, and amenities as needed.
• Replenish guest supplies and ensure rooms are well-stocked.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department.
• Follow safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned.
• Provide exceptional customer service to guests and address their requests promptly.
• Know who we are – you will be across our brand standards and work towards making a great branded experience for all.
• Strictly adhering to IHG policy concerning the Trade practices Act, Gifts and Bribery and Data Privacy.

What we need from you

We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, and friendly individual who is willing to learn and build an extraordinary career within a global company. The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
