Technical Materials Coordinator - Warehouse
The Technical Materials Coordinator- Warehouse reports to the Manager Aircraft Materials & Logistics and assumes responsibility for the following duties, including acting as leave relief for the Manager when required.
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Assist in developing and maintaining a consistent system for managing component repairs, warranties, inventory, and tooling by contributing to policy formulation and supply contract negotiations.
- Support the Manager, Aircraft Materials & Logistics in drafting and publishing policies and procedures for component repair, warranty, inventory control, and tooling.
- Ensure all components released in AMOS meet regulatory standards, including Fiji Airways ANR 145C Maintenance Organisation (MMOE) and Technical Operating Procedures.
- Oversee the archiving of all released component documentation in AMOS and designated records cabinets.
- Assess and verify potential repair and tooling vendors for compliance with technical specifications.
- Contribute to negotiating repair and tooling contracts with approved suppliers, covering pricing, delivery timelines, and quality standards.
- Implement procurement policies to ensure timely availability of materials, components, and tooling, preventing stock shortages.
- Expedite the dispatch and return of overhauled components from approved ITM suppliers, ensuring adherence to contract deadlines.
- Oversee stock protection and maintain accurate inventory records in AMOS through regular stock audits.
- Participate in the evaluation of new aircraft types, analyzing their impact on procurement and inventory systems.
- Maintain the company reputation and access to credit by coordinating approvals and payments with the Finance Department within agreed terms.
- Ensure the procurement and supplies module in AMOS is accurate and up to date for effective management reporting.
- Prepare monthly inventory reports, analyze inventory usage, forecast demand, and assist in provisioning.
- Manage rostering for stores personnel to ensure seamless operational support.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager, Aircraft Materials & Logistics.
- Adhere to company policies, employment contracts, and the Company Policy and Procedures Manual.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or Supply Chain Management.
- Dangerous Goods Certification Approval (will be an advantage).
- Valid Driver's license
- At least 2 years of experience in Logistics & Warehouse Management.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and experience with inventory management systems.
- Knowledge and experience in project management (would be an advantage).
