Yacht Help Fiji is looking for a highly organized and customer-oriented Administration Officer to join our team.
Position: Administration Officer
Location: Port Denarau Marina
Responsibilities:
- Meet and greet clients ensuring a professional and welcoming experience
- Handle inquiries and bookings for rentals, taxis, hotel accommodations and airline tickets
- Arrange inward & outward clearance paperwork and liaise with Fiji’s border control authorities
- Coordinate the export and import of freights via sea or air freight
- Monitor shipment schedules, documentation, and compliance with international regulations
- Ensure accurate records are maintained for all inbound and outbound shipments
- Troubleshoot any shipment delays or issues to ensure smooth operations
- Liaise with the clients on the delivery of all incoming shipments
- Assist with general office duties and support other departments as needed
Essential Skills:
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Proficient use of Internet, Email, Excel, Word, Gmail, and social media platforms.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
- Self-motivation and capability to work independently.
- Ability to meet the demanding requirements of superyacht clientele with a proactive approach.
Preferences:
- Valid driver’s license (mandatory)
- Previous experience in freight handling, logistics, or a related field
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general office software
