Ahura Resorts is the management company operating two of Fiji’s award-winning, most popular and well-known resorts – Malolo Island Resort, and Likuliku Lagoon Resort in the Mamanucas.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Supervisor to join our dynamic team at the Head Office in Martintar, Nadi. The Finance Supervisor will play a crucial hands-on role in managing day-to-day financial activities and providing support to the Finance Manager and contributing to strategic decision-making.
Finance Supervisor
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the day-to-day financial activities, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data, reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and prevent fraud.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize financial processes and drive efficiency.
- Provide financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and efficiency enhancements within the finance department.
- Provide support to the Finance Manager.
- Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities as required.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and reporting standards
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities.
Additional Requirements:
- Experience in the lodging or hospitality industry is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data and reporting.
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality.
