The Customer Services Assistant - Savusavu is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to all Sales Office customers and providing professional assistance on a rotational basis at the Savusavu Airport.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver the highest level of customer service while on duty, adhering to company standards for uniform and grooming.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist customers with new bookings, modifications to existing reservations, and the refund process online.
  • Promote and sell ancillary services, plan optimal routes, facilitate payments, and issue tickets as per official identification.
  • Safely store or bank all collected funds and submit related paperwork to Finance for processing.
  • Facilitate customer check-ins, boarding, and disembarkation following company policies and standards.
  • Provide premier services to VIP guests, ensuring their expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Meet, greet, and escort customers to departures and the aircraft door, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Address customer dissatisfaction by arranging accommodations, transportation, meal vouchers, and other services within policy guidelines during disruptions.
  • Coordinate and update mishandled baggage records and arrange delivery as required.
  • Adhere to all safety, security, and operational requirements set by Fiji Link and relevant authorities.
  • Prepare and document flight weight and balance data to meet regulatory standards, reporting irregularities as necessary.
  • Ensure accurate entries in the Notification to Crew (NOTOC) for items requiring attention.
  • Collaborate with the Team Leader or Operational Control Centre to maintain safety, security, customer satisfaction, and on-time departures within company guidelines.
  • Compile and submit detailed flight-related reports, including sales, shift, departure, investigation, occurrence, and customer complaints reports, using the correct templates and platforms.
  • Assist in areas of high workload, including booking and ticketing queries, and help close mishandled baggage files.
  • Support the Team Leader with operational and administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.
  • Seek clarity and take initiative to resolve issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Form 6 Level /Year 12
  • Computer literate, preferably proficient with MS Office
  • Fares & Ticketing, Customer Management & Altea Reservations
  • Valid Dangerous Goods Certification will be an added advantage
  • Fluent communication Techniques
  • Load-sheet experience for DHC would be an advantage
  • Fluent communication Techniques
  • At least two (2) years' experience in a customer service is mandatory.
  • Strong organisational, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
