What will you be doing?

At Tower, we are progressing boldly to align with future insurance trends. To deliver this we're looking for a dynamic Insurance Consultant. You will contribute to the success of TOWER sales and facilitate superior business growth by ensuring the efficient and effective achievement of profitable sales and service targets in relation to all TOWER insurance products

You will ensure a consistent delivery of customer service that meets agreed SLAs. You will understand our customers, including Alliance Partners and will look after the things they cherish by providing them with the right solutions at the right time, demonstrating a thorough knowledge of our products.

You can expect to be across the following:

  • Help our customers in real time to deliver accurate and professional advice and support
  • Actively manage the customer experience from first point of contact through to completion, ensure our customer is kept informed throughout
  • Keep our customer records accurate and up to date
  • Make sure all methods of contact are of high quality and meet our compliance standards
  • Engage with your work mates and collaborate - it's a key principle in the way we work and the way we do things around here
  • Prioritize your tasks and take personal responsibility and accountability for them, as well as your own personal development
  • Results focused; inspired and motivated to achieve challenging goals
  • Target relationship building efforts to those who may be helpful in creating opportunities further down the line
  • Ensure all customer interactions and information enquiries/detail/information/claims are recorded accurately and all appropriate steps taken to assist our customers, and keep the customer updated
  • Resolve customer and Alliance Partners' complaints effectively and speedily, and understand when to escalate where appropriate
  • Ensure referrals from partners are within company guidelines and appropriately underwritten
  • Be innovative and open to changes that provide better service for our customers and Alliance Partners - actively raise and own your ideas
  • Roll your sleeves up - proactively get involved and get it done
  • Maintain company integrity, and minimize risk exposure by adhering to Company procedures
  • Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures.

 

What you'll need

Previous experience in sales and service delivery roles would be an advantage. The ideal candidate should be a team player capable of working under pressure, with excellent interpersonal techniques and proven written and verbal communication skills. They should possess sound problem-solving and analytical capabilities, along with strong time management and organizational abilities.

 

Good computer skills with a technology-friendly orientation are essential, as are accuracy, speed, and attention to detail. Additionally, the ability to adapt and embrace change is crucial.

 

To be successful in this role, you will also be able to demonstrate the following:

  • An understanding of the Fiji insurance industry
  • Experience in the Insurance or Financial Services Industry preferred
